The future of education.
Our mission is to modernise education. EduMetrics replaces the registers, ledgers and notice boards of school life with a school management system that head teachers, teachers, bursars and parents all share.
We’ll email you a working sample school to explore. Nothing to install.
Inside EduMetrics
Tuesday morning, as the school office sees it

Running a school outside Uganda? Currency, time zone, phone codes, grading and the CA split are all yours to change.
School management, end to end
Sixteen modules. One set of records.
Nothing is typed in twice. A payment reduces the balance the parent sees, a released mark lands on the report card, and a new admission appears in the next register.
Admissions
Online applications with the fee paid up front, then shortlisting, interviews, offers and enrolment.
Students
Photos, parents, transfers and a term-by-term history for each learner.
Timetable
A full week built in a click, with no teacher or room booked twice.
Exams
Write papers, plan sittings, assign invigilators and gather marks.
Report cards
Grades and broadsheets worked out on the school’s grading scale.
Attendance
Morning registers in seconds, with trends by class or by child.
Fees
Invoices, payments, balances and reminders, always up to date.
Messages
Notices to chosen classes, plus bulk SMS and WhatsApp to parents.
Gate
Arrivals, early pick-ups and visitors, logged with a scan.
ID cards
Photo cards with QR codes, printed at school or ordered from us.
Library
Loans by accession number, due dates and late fines.
Shop and wallets
Uniforms and stationery billed to the fees account, plus pocket-money wallets.
Sick bay
Patient visits, admissions, discharges and the medicine store.
Expenses
Spending requests that need approval before money leaves.
Events and trips
The term calendar, trip sign-ups and billing for paid outings.
School page
A public page with fees, requirements, results, photos and an apply button.
Timetable and exams
Timetables and exam sittings that plan themselves
Enter the bell schedule once. EduMetrics spreads each subject’s lessons across the week, then blocks any edit that would put a teacher or a room in two places at the same time.
- A whole-school view that shows all classes and streams, a day at a time
- Exam papers placed across the sittings you choose, with rooms and invigilators checked for clashes
- Papers co-written with your department, illustrated with AI-drawn diagrams and printed straight to PDF
- Teachers start the day with their lessons and invigilation duties already listed
Results and report cards
Marks in. Report cards out.
Teachers enter marks for their subjects. Tests count towards CA, end-of-term papers become the exam score, and the grade follows your bands. The report card lays itself out, ready to print.
- Your CA and exam split, your grading bands
- Class broadsheets that show how each subject is going
- Families see results only after you release them
- Passport photos uploaded in bulk and matched to students by file name
Fees and payments
Fees collected, not chased
Invoice a whole class at once. Parents pay by mobile money or card from their phones, and the balance updates the moment a payment clears.
- Term fees, trips, shop sales and library fines, all on the student’s account
- Reminders that go only to families who still owe, quoting each family’s balance
- Pocket-money wallets: parents top up, and the office pays out against a PIN
- Spending that is approved before it happens, and a finance overview for the term
Parents and students
Keep families informed on the phones they already have
Parents follow timetables, results, attendance and invoices from their phone. Notices go out on WhatsApp, and anyone who isn’t on WhatsApp gets an SMS instead, so no family is left out.
- Circulars to the whole school or chosen classes, with read receipts
- Children at different schools, followed from the same login
- Trips and shop orders, paid like any other fee
- Applications made online and tracked by reference number
Gate and sick bay
Know who is on site, and who is unwell
A guard scans the QR code on a student’s ID card, checks the photo that appears, then records the arrival or departure. For an early pick-up, that includes who took the child and why.
- Staff and visitors sign in too, so the office knows who is on the grounds
- Entries can’t be edited. A mistake is removed with a reason, and the removal stays on file
- The sick bay records visits, admissions and medicine, and flags pupils until they are discharged
Records that travel
Change schools without starting over.
Most school systems forget a child the day they leave. On EduMetrics, a learner keeps the same ID from Baby Class to S6, and a teacher takes a verified work history from one staffroom to the next.
Browse the job boardA learner ID that stays put
Transfers go through on the ID and date of birth. Once the old school lets the child go, parents, photo and login move across, with nothing retyped.
A learning journey, term by term
Each school attended and a summary of each term, open to the school and to the child’s own family.
Teachers with credentials checked
Our team verifies certificates and registration. Teachers apply through the job board and join the staff of the school that hires them straight away.
Who it’s for
A workspace for each person in the school
Librarians, nurses and gate staff get one too. A teacher who is also a parent switches between the two from the sidebar.
Oversee the group without blurring the branches
Each campus keeps its own staff, settings and records. You see them together, and can compare one against another.
- Branches compared side by side
- Group finance staff who work across all campuses
- Expenses reviewed across campuses
- Day or boarding, mixed or single-sex, set campus by campus
The term, from your desk
Staff, classes, subjects, timetables and exams are run from the dashboard. Results, registers and balances are a click away.
- Staff invited by email, each with the right role
- Exam timetables published to staff and families at once
- A public school page you preview before it goes live, and admissions taken through it
Your classes, your marks, your week
Open the app to today’s lessons. Take registers, enter marks, and leave the averaging and the report card layout to EduMetrics.
- My week and Up next on the dashboard
- Registers and mark sheets for the subjects you teach
- Teaching at two schools? Switch between them without signing out
- A career profile you keep when you change jobs
Every shilling accounted for
Counter takings, mobile money and expenses are recorded as they happen, so the books are never a week behind.
- Cash and bank payments taken at the counter
- A finance dashboard for the whole term
- Bulk SMS and WhatsApp aimed at parents with balances
- Shop prices, sizes and stock levels
Know how your children are doing
Follow each child’s progress, wherever they study, and pay without queueing at the bursar’s window.
- Timetables, results, report cards and attendance
- Invoices and a full payment history
- A soft ID card for each child
- School applications made and followed online
Their own corner of the school
Students see what belongs to them, and nothing that doesn’t.
- Class and exam timetables
- Results the moment they’re released
- Report cards, attendance and invoices
- Circulars and a soft ID card
Security and privacy
Built to protect children’s records
Names, photos, marks, sick bay visits, family phone numbers: a school knows a great deal about its children. EduMetrics treats all of it as sensitive.
Each school’s records kept apart
Records belong to a single school. Requests are checked against it, and anything pointing at another school’s data is refused.
Access by role
A bursar sees fees, a teacher sees their classes, a parent sees their own children. The server enforces this, not just the screen.
Nothing personal in a QR code
An ID card carries only a random token. Replace a lost card and the old one stops working at the gate immediately.
Private documents stay private
Birth certificates and past report cards are stored away from public files. Only the school’s admins can download them.
No locations in photos
Uploads are resized and stripped of hidden metadata, so a photo taken on a phone never reveals where it was shot.
Payments confirmed at the source
A payment counts only once the provider confirms it directly. A redirect or a forged message can’t mark a fee as paid.
Can we try EduMetrics before we commit?
Yes. Ask for a demo and we’ll email a private link to a sample school, complete with students, staff, timetables, results and fees. Try it as anyone from the director to a parent. The copy is yours alone, and it’s wiped when the demo ends.
Is it only for schools in Uganda?
It was built here, so it starts out on the Ugandan calendar and curriculum. A school elsewhere can switch to its own currency, time zone, calling code, grading and CA split.
Do parents need a smartphone?
No, and there’s no app to install. Parents with a smartphone sign in from the browser to check results and pay fees. Those on basic phones still receive notices and fee reminders by text.
How do staff and parents get their accounts?
The school invites staff by email, with a link that works once and expires after seven days. Parents are either added by the school or sign up themselves, then link their child with a family code the school gives them.
We have several branches. Does that work?
Yes. Branches sit under a school group. Directors oversee the whole group, while each campus is set up separately.
What happens when a student leaves for another school?
If the new school is on EduMetrics, it asks for the transfer using the learner’s ID and date of birth. Your school approves the release or turns it down with an explanation, and keeps a record of the years the child spent with you.
